Edward Kenneth Loyst

Edward Kenneth Loyst is a lifelong storyteller and a successful entrepreneur who spent decades building and leading more than 20 companies. After selling the public company he once controlled, Franchise Bancorp Inc., which operated over 200 retail franchises, he turned his attention to the craft he enjoys most: writing.

Today, Edward is the author of Have I Ever Told You My Duck Story?, a collection of witty, heartfelt short stories, and Kennebec Corners, a sweeping historical novel inspired by real family heritage. His first published work was the non-fiction business book Portrait of an Entrepreneur, currently being updated for re-issue.

Blending humour, history, and human experience, Edward writes with the simple goal of sharing stories worth remembering.
